Ultra-thin & conformal
At 0.3 mm the film conforms to curved test surfaces without changing the contact geometry being measured.
PDRELTEST builds environmental and reliability testing solutions. Our flexible sensing films turn surfaces into measurable pressure data — from thin-film arrays and acquisition hardware to an analytics platform, engineered for wind turbine blades and industrial equipment.
Same measurement job — flexible arrays, acquisition hardware and mapping software — manufactured and supported by us. Start with a side-by-side sample.
Conventional pressure taps are bulky and sparse, so they cannot reconstruct a continuous pressure field. A thin sensing film conforms to curved surfaces and turns point measurements into surface mapping.
At 0.3 mm the film conforms to curved test surfaces without changing the contact geometry being measured.
Multi-point arrays on a single film deliver a pressure distribution rather than a handful of isolated readings.
Encapsulation designed for temperature swings, humidity, salt spray and long-term vibration.
Sensors, acquisition, transmission and platform delivered together — usable data, not just components.
Film, collectors and software are specified together — the sheet count follows the surface size.
A piezoresistive film with a 64 × 64 sensing matrix on a 490 × 520 mm sheet. Each sheet is an independent measuring unit; multiple sheets tile to cover larger surfaces while remaining individually replaceable.
USB collector for one sensing sheet — 90 × 40 mm and under 100 g, so it sits beside the fixture rather than on it. Grouped through a docking hub.
180 × 180 mm unit for builds where five larger collectors replace ten compact ones — fewer devices and less cabling at the hub.
The bundled application merges every collector into a single pressure map, with recording, playback and raw data export.
Wind turbine blades are our main field. The same sensing stack extends to industrial equipment and structural testing.
Sensor arrays bonded at critical blade sections continuously capture surface pressure for load assessment, design validation and condition comparison.
Grip force control, assembly surface inspection and fixture load analysis — replacing discrete force sensors with full-surface arrays.
Long-term measurement of contact pressure, wheel-rail forces and load conditions on structural components.
What arrives is not a wall of curves, but a pressure field you can compare by section, by condition and over time.
Configuration, method and finding are published as delivered. Client identity stays with the customer — that is the only way these records get approved at all.
Five long sheets and ten compact collectors merged into one continuous map over 1040 × 2480 mm, then compared against the aerodynamic model.
Adhesive pressure mapped along the bond line before cure, replacing a trial-and-error shim routine.
40,960 points across ten sheets measured platen flatness under load, so the process change was decided on data rather than a sample.
Conventional sensors are rigidly packaged and measure a single point, usually requiring a tap or mounting port. A flexible film is thin — 0.3 mm in our standard sheet — conforms to curved surfaces and can be patterned into arrays, delivering a pressure distribution instead of a single value.
Aerodynamic loads on a blade appear directly as surface pressure distribution. Measuring it allows you to validate simulation models, assess loads at critical sections, locate concentration zones and support maintenance decisions.
The film is sub-millimetre and conformal, so its influence on the airfoil is minimal. The final encapsulation scheme depends on the blade geometry, operating environment and required monitoring period.
Yes. Sheet size, point count and seam layout follow the measured surface. The standard range is 400–6000 kPa and can be customized; collectors come in two form factors and are grouped through a docking hub, so a build can scale to 10 sheets and 40,960 points.
Yes. We work with customers in Europe and North America and can support export documentation, remote commissioning and on-site installation for larger projects.
